Linking Actual and Virtual Realities

Semantic Sensorium

Software that bridges reality and virtual realities by composing transforming superimposed semantic spaces into perceivable multimedia experiences. Spaces include, within themselves, interactive controls for all potential operations that may be performed in and upon them.

We are attempting to unify information and representation semantics with a graph structure, and layering space transformations to shape a system's perception and shape its interactive behavior.

All useful objects of memory (data and procedure) are semantically grounded to human-perceivable representations, such as
  • names
  • tags
  • descriptions
  • icons
  • sounds
  • colors
  • relative sizes
  • relative positions and rotational orientations
  • etc….
We have the potential to evolve a system of communication that can link human, animal, extraterrestrial, and automatic intelligences, languages, dialects, and ideologies.

We are now seeing the evolution of software's tendency to optimize semantic harmony (lack of conceptual entropy) further aligning with real-time depictions of the represented reality - maximizing perceptual consistency and obviousness.
